Why local businesses need to be bookable by AI, now

People are starting to ask ChatGPT, Claude and Google to find a salon, a plumber or a physio, and every big platform is building the booking step. Here is the evidence, each item with its source and date.

Customers are moving

What this means for your business

Almost every one of these routes the customer through a marketplace. The marketplace keeps the relationship, and beauty marketplaces charge 20 to 35 percent of a new client's first visit. Most of it launches in the US first. Canadian businesses that set up now are ready before it arrives here.

Slotrobin makes you bookable by these assistants on your own terms. The booking lands in the Square Appointments or Google Calendar you already use, with no lead fees and no marketplace in between.

What we don't claim. Nobody publishes how many appointments are booked through AI assistants yet. Google, Square, Yelp and Fresha describe what they have built and what surveys say, not completed bookings. This is early. That is why setting up now is cheap and why being first in your town matters.
